The standard focuses especially on penetrations and fixings. In practice, this means greater planning reliability: shower screens may now only be installed using tested, penetration-tight mounting solutions, or by using systems that avoid penetrating the waterproofing layer altogether.

Important: this change is not due to defects in shower screens. Koralle systems have proven themselves in real-world use. Even so, Koralle is proactively aligning with the new requirements to provide maximum compliance and clear confidence in both specification and installation.
