Since 1959, the Bringhen Group has stood for a philosophy deeply rooted in family tradition. Hugo Bringhen, the company’s founder, once said: “There is only one boss: the customer.” With 17 locations in Switzerland and over 400 employees, the company remains true to its core business: the trade in building materials. The values of yesteryear—customer service, family culture, and ethical conduct—live on in every branch. These words still guide us today and are supplemented by our President and CEO, Dr. Jean-Pierre Bringhen: “Our customers have the right to be certain that our products are manufactured from ecologically sound raw materials, while upholding ethical working conditions and a commitment to sustainability.” Today, the third and fourth generations of the Bringhen family are already leading, making decisions, and taking responsibility within the company. Cristina Testa, as Vice President, and Nicole Lochmatter-Bringhen serve on the Board of Directors, while son-in-law Michael Lochmatter-Bringhen manages operations in Upper Valais as site manager.

Exactly 65 years to the day after the company was founded, the course was set for a promising future on March 1, 2024, with the establishment of Hestia Bringhen Holding AG. The various locations operate under the common name Bringhen and leverage their local strengths within a national network, while maintaining high standards of quality and service. At the same time, the Bringhen family holds stakes in the companies Paul Maret SA in Le Châble, VS, and Bregy Logistics AG in Aigle. We are more than just a supplier.
